  • How to use this page

This page is best used to find an explanation about a specific event, such as a loss on the sale of rental property.

When you complete the information below, you will notice a place for two terms. This helps the software to be more exact.

For example, to find an explanation of the tax law regarding the passive activity rules of rental property with loss, your search the terms to be included would be "rental property loss" and "passive activity."

Finding the next occurrence of your search terms.

You search terms (two sets) may be a few inches apart. This is because the software is looking very closely at all of the IRS documents and is selecting only those documents where the two terms are within 25 words of each other.

Adobe Format Files

Adobe has its own system that lets you:
1. click for the next occurrence,
2. search with in the file
3. save the file in Adobe format.

Text Format Files

My software has two icons. One icon (on the right side of the menu bar) is to find the next occurrence of your term.

The other icon is to go to the next document.
